Travel Dates

The gates open at 23:59 on Saturday 29 August. We all pack down the camp together on Sunday 6 September and depart Monday 7 September in the morning.

Transport

Last year we purchased a 60 seater school bus and added solar to its roof to create the Rubber Armstrong Express. The purpose was to reduce the camps carbon emissions and costs for individual campmates. It has plenty of space for all your gear, shopping etc. and is fully equipped with a fridge, freezer and sound system. We will collect campmates from Walmart in Reno (closest one to the airport) on Saturday 29 June between 20:00 & 22:00 then head off to the burn. As it is not a Burning Man service vehicle it does need to join the normal queue. Contribution for a ride is USD 150 for a return trip.

Food Allergies

All dinners are vegetarian for health, safety, and environmental reasons. We are not a turn-key camp, however, we do offer an evening meal to make sure you power your burn. N.B. There is also a BBQ in the camp for those who require meat in their diet.

Camp Contribution

Our family of like minded individuals cannot be run by a couple of people, a community like this requires everyone to play their own part in the success of the camp. We will each need to sign up to 1-2 shifts to cover the roster. These shift include cooking family dinner, MOOP sweeps / recycling, running the bar, driving the art car.

Radiance Hour is a low-key gathering where campmates have the opportunity to share with the rest of the camp and the larger Burning Man community. Think yoga flows, sound healing, architecture insights, bike-pimping secrets, turning playa tricks into “default-world” magic, playa knot tying, dance floor stretch routines or even the fine art of silly noises.

Rubber Armstrong Tent USD 660 per tent We have designed a 2.0 version of our tents from the last 5 years. Upgraded waterproofing and insulation along with some neat new features.

BYO RV USD 150 per RV You need to provide your own generator and fuel (bonus points if you get a solar one). Includes 10ft x 36 ft of aluminet shade structure.

BYO Tent USD 150 per tent Includes shade structure and power hookup (power for Ecoflow Wave AC Unit hired through RA only).
